Good sense of humor, Jean-Claude! ... Of course, let's not forget that the Asian economies were in the toilet, and Korea only began brightening this year. I recall Lev telling us at the shareholders meeting in early Feb ('99) that Hanil was being delayed for financial reasons.

That's all past now. I'd like to see the list of customers (plural) that Lev referred to. Perhaps Hanil can be more aggressive about announcing a PO when the time comes (Samsung?) than Lev's lawyers are allowing Valence to be.

Perhaps Valence will also be shipping to Hanil's customers in the interim.

Hanil obviously will be building batteries for Samsung. Any conjecture on who else? What does this mean for Valence's bottom line? What is their agreement with Hanil re percentages. FRED! Where are you?

FWIW, Mr. Geiger took 5 days in getting back to me. By the time he called I could hardly recall what I wanted to ask him. He did apologize and explained he was out of town, but he was unable to answer my questions.
