Mike,

Do you think AG is serious about trying to put the brakes on the U.S. economy?

He's got to realize that Asia is still dependent on our consumption and current account deficit to keep them going.

If I thought he was serious, I might start liking treasury bonds at
6.25 or more on their own and as a hedge against a stock market bust.

To All, Portfolio notes. I bought ASA yesterday. It is the first third I've owned in a while as the fund is finally selling at a discount and the price was again approaching its 10 year low.

I also sold Jan 30 calls against my CommScope position. The 20% premium was too much to resist and I have a nice profit pad in the stock.

These are late because I was overwhelmed by the Micron disaster. <g>
