If Amazon buys Beyond.... and you're a competing Software Retailer, you better have a deal with Digital River. If you're a software developer and you want to distribute through the maximum number of retailers, you better have a deal with both Beyond and DRIV If you're a music retailer and you noticed the EMI Music deal with Liquid Audio this week to digitally encode their entire library (with copy protection watermarks) for on line down downloads, you'd better start looking for a non-Amazon expert in digital downloads with experience in music and a scalable platform. If you're short DRIV and you see Amazon make an offer at 2x Beyond's current stock price, and you know all of the above....
