YOY CPI growth was less than 3% (as has been the case for a while). The flip side of your argument (which focuses on the 0.7% March to April growth) is that if we have forever 0% montly growth as we had April to May we would have no inflation. Hence, it makes no sense to look at these volatile monthly movements, one needs to look at the YOY trends.

Also, the first three months this year, the monthly growth was 0.1%, then a 0.7%, then back to 0%. Tell me why the bond bears want to focus on the 0.7% one?
