Peter, I think you're right. 3Com is pulling the ultimate hoodwinking job! In their conference call they send out a cautionary warning. This is great for 3Com because they know that the weaker hands will fold sending the price of the shares down and as it goes down they buy it up at a cheaper price. Why would any company want to buyback shares of a sinking ship? NO! They want to buy it back at a cheaper price. What better way to get the cheaper price than to shake out the weaklings who take everything at face value. Earthdog
