Let's see - Chris is afraid that the house costs too much, the mortgage is too high, I might dump him as soon as we move in, if I do dump him then the house is too big, I might not dump him and he'll be stuck with me for the foreseeable future, interest rates might go down if we wait, housing prices might go back down if we wait, we might find a better house if we wait, if I use all my savings for the down payment and don't make any money then I won't be able to cover my overhead - I think that about covers it.

Oh, yeah, and if we buy it the housing market might tank and we won't be able to sell it. I can't think of anything else. Well, the furnace, water heater, etc. might break and the roof might leak.

Ish is right, it just takes men a while to adjust to domesticity. Some longer than others. It took him forever to get his first job after he graduated. He was living in a three-batchelor apartment and sponging off his brother. I finally told him I wasn't going to date him anymore if he didn't get a job. He's always held that against me. But he got a job.
