eddie: edamo is one of the finest posters on dell thread. he is honest and will view the situation from all sides: the good, the bad, and the ugly. many people only want to hear the good, and get irritated when the bad and the ugly are pointed out. ed is doing a great service in letting us THINK, and not just blind followers. I hope none of us worship Michael Dell - who is a great CEO and ranks among the best in the world - and view him as infallible. the posting back and forth on the issue have escalated to ugly words and personal attacks which are quite unfortunate. we are not policing what should or should not be posted, the theme is that we should always agree to disagree. if that bothers some, just walk on buy ... click next. best regards paul

eddie...you don't have to read my posts either.. what have i speculated on??????, what are my conclusions???? just comments on the current state, based on reality...is growing a business by $90b, no more then speculation???? i'm long 30000 shares of dell...no margin, sold the splits for a long time...zero cost basis..short another 15000 shares in 01 put contracts... do you like dell as much as i do???? what's your point...keep your head in the sand, or some other dark, dank place...follow the leader....

First, please excuse my budding into the posting exchange that you and Edamo are having. Second, if you don't mind, I would like to ask you what you see in Dell as they go forward, and why you think they will be a success. Also, what do you think it will take for the Money Managers and Institutions to start buying Dell again. Janus Twenty recently cut their holdings of Dell in half. Not good for the stock.
