Importance of Intraday Trading Range increases on down days....

What I usually notice is that when a 'net stocks tries hard to maintain positive territory when the rest of the sector sinks badly something is going on. I saw that in ABOV a few sessions ago and put ABOV in the watchlist, then again with BYND and put that in the watch list (ABOV & BYND). Both ABOV and BYND were up sharply. I saw that in CUST also and we all now what happened there. I saw that a number of weeks ago with VRSN and it was on a very nice 5 day uptrend while the nets were down, ditto with NSOL.

Sometimes of course it doesn't work and I expected INKT to be up more today, but it doesn't hurt to check which nets' closed at the very high end of their intraday trading range on higher than average volume while the rest of the sector tanks.
