I have talked to 2 friends that work at the Samsung in Austin, they have both told me that Samsung is yielding 94% probe yield on a .22um
process that has about 420 possible die per wafer. And one of the individuals has told me that in Korea they are yielding between 90 and
95%.

Smasung is on the .22um process, but mostly making 128 Meg -- came from their own PR.

Hyundai is currently on a .22um also, but starting a new generation of the same process.

I have friends in both companies and keep my eyes and ears open too.

In addition I have been "in the industry" since the early 80's and information just seems to find its way (VBG)
