Dipy:

You indeed are making me confused beyond belief! For someone who claims to have 65% of his portfolio in LSI, you sound more like a person who is shorting LSI than someone who is long on LSI!

Seriously, if you really have such a low opinion of this company (and its stock) why do you continue to have 65% of your portfolio invested in it?! Knowing your Warren Buffet investment psychology I am sure you can put that 65% in something like Steel, Aluminium, Goodyear, Wallmart, or heck you can take even a bit of risk and invest in the good old AT&T! You sure have baffled me!

Regards, - Addi

I spent some time this late afternoon talking to some bond traders. They are telling me that people like Tommy Baldwin are betting that interest rates hit 7% very quickly. And these guys are usually very right very often, so it would not be impossible for LSI to take a significant drop simply because it is a very volatile stock (although not in RMBS territory). But subsequent to any sell off, LSI would be among the first to rebound given its superior fundamental outlook in the last half of '99. Thus, I believe that another '87 like sell-off is possible.

By the way, does anybody know anything about an SI Beta launch?
