why should I vote yes on increasing shares? I thought that would dilute the value of existing shares? What's the deal? I am getting ready to send mine in.

Just returned my vote in the mail, YES on approving share increase. Since I have not received the proxy, I don't know the reasoning for increasing shares from 3b to 7b. If Dell wants to use the add'l shares to buy CPQ, my vote is YES YES YES . Buy the company when it is still cheap, revive the company, get rid of bad units and combine the strength with dell lack thereof (service), plus terrific management in mickey, meredith, topfler etc. we are going places. oh btw, while doing that who needs drkoop.com?
