All I can figure is that from FGI's point of view the delay is attributable to some supplier who will have to pay a late-delivery penalty to FGI (whose yard scheduling arguably is screwed up). Or maybe the benefit is simply that revenue can be pushed back into later quarters. Hard to say.

Just speculation, but if it is a delay due to customer design changes, the fab typically gets big bucks for those. Of course, it could be that FGI will get to buy back its shares at a lower price. <g>

You could always call FGI and ask.
