Usually the ticker doesn't show up at most brokers' the first day of trading in my experience,the best way is to call the broker and place the order on the first day if the ticker doesn't show up in the computer.I wanted to buy some WITC at WIT the first day same thing happened,it happened to me at Fidelity and eTrade.

Wit lets you place orders for IPOs on the first day now, but they have to be limit orders, not market orders. Just use a limit order with a limit above the ask and it should go through like a market order.

Wit told me that a new stock symbol will never
appear in their database until 2 or 3 days later.
