RSD, great post. This is an outstanding example of being able to offer the entire packages requirement to a customer or just the pieces they need. Once we get through the Y2K issue and into the second quarter of 2000 this is going to be one of the hottest applications going -- moving a company's bricks and mortar business onto the Web. It applies to virtually every business that exists. There will be some serious money made investing in the tech companies that provide the software, services and productivity aids necessary for efficient transitions like the example in your post.

Thanks for posting that DELL episode. It is unlikely, because of the availability of the support factors involved set up and ready as they were, that it is an isolated incident but more likely reflective of a way of doing business.
