I'm about ready to lay an egg here :)) SmartMoney News link: smartmoney.com OK - came out yesterday (very late) - but article says that CNBC is suggesting that the CMGI-Alta Vista (yes I use that as my search engine as well) deal could be announced THIS week. Thinking of putting DW on my Christmas card list this year. David :)

MSGI will be huge, once the Alta Vista dell* is announced.* is that a freudian slip or is that a typo? LOL the way i see it: cmgi buys alta vista and shop.com, that leaves cpq with core business of manufacturing computer, but gets stock in cmgi. dell is asking shareholders to increase shares ffrom 3b to 7b, use the extra shares to buy cpq. now dell and cpq is one. dell now owns a significant portion of cmgi. msgi get dclk business plus cpq plus dell plus gtw. just get excited folks. that could happen. best regards paul
