Dan Niles has been vocally anti-Intel and pro-AMD, while Ashok Kumar is just the opposite. Two very influential analysts on Wall Street, yet almost polar opposites. You should have seen some of the negative comments Kumar made about the K7 and AMD.

By the way, it's funny how Dan Niles isn't saying that the advent of the Free PC is going to destroy any potential profitability of the K7 ...

Boy , was Danny boy wrong !

Jesus H. Christ !

200 Million Dollar LOSS, on $ 600 Million in sales...

That is simply put, INSANE !!!

I cannot believe, in my wildest dreams , that their incompetence couls lose them so much money....

This is while Intel is making $ 2 BILLION dollars a quarter...

Unbelievable...

How the hell will Saunders survive this latest mess ?

What about the dresden Fab, if he is losing so much money ?

Are they still in the lenders good graces with this disaster ?

Finally, watch intel tomorrow go down in sympathy !

Take care
Jean
