musea. Intel, AMD. I heard that AMD is not going to match some of Intel's cuts. I guess they are finally seeing the light. It's hard to be profitable when you are losing money. gg. What good is market share when you cannot deliver? Let's see what this K7 will bring. Intel can probably afford to lose money on the low end. And I don't think they are losing with their celeron. They make plenty of money on the high end. AMD does not have a high end. So, one of these days all those cos. will find out that they'd better sell at a profit. Not as good for customers but good for the bottom line. And Intel is luckily in other things now.

I am not trying to fig. out every business move that IBM makes. But I am looking at the expanding bottom line and it is nothing to sneeze at. Going gang ho into this storage area should be very helpful. Data storage is big business and will be vastly needed for the internet. I am pretty sure that there is enough business for EMC and IBM. Never could quite fig. out what happened to STK. Used to own that but gave up.

Oops. The markets were recovering but now heading down again. Sheesh.

musea. AMD. It's slow for me again. I can't get the data from the net. Maybe AMD will make some money. Right now they only warned. It's MU that came in with a 0.10 loss. Sorry if I mentioned losses regarding AMD. I guess we'll have to wait and see on that one.
