Hal/JustMY, thanks
for the article/update.

As well:http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/990623/ca_bancbos_3.html

Nice reaffirmation from BBRS.

And then, I'm not sure if this was mentioned here:

<<<* PSINET INC said it had bought Caribbean Internet Service Corp.,
one of the largest Internet Service Providers (ISP) in Puerto Rico
with 14,000 business and residential customers. The terms of the
deal were not revealed. Caribbean Internet offers local service in
50 of Puerto Rico's 78 municipalities and has a market share of
about 30%. The opportunities for growth in the market are strong,
as industry studies show just 13% of island homes have personal
computers, and not all of those are connected to the Internet.

Nice to see us recovering some of our lost ground, just hope our recent rise is more in support of PSIX true value, and not just in sympathy with QWST/FRO/USW & ELNK/FON/GTW.

regards,
cg

Although if it is any deal that we would
be up in sympathy with is MFNX/ABOV.

Funny, they were offering 1.9billion on Monday for a company with 3.5mill in sales all of last year.

While our business models are not even close to identical, their are some similarities. Just interesting to see the amt. of money one company will pay, regardless of revenues, based on what they feel value is.

I'm not going to start any PSIX takeover talk because it is usually a waste of time to do so, but with all the recent merger talk in telecoms, it does attest to the value that is inherent in a company such as ours.
