I should mention...I have read some of Sudhir's postings and should not lump him in with main group of writers. Being an Engineer (like myself) he likes to stick to the facts....I like that in a stock writer.

Don't think this has been posted...check out the list of names.

Taken from the JDX site on Stockhouse. Since I know you are lurking...nice post.

Hello - I have been lurking here and also reading the SI thread for a while now. There is obviously a bit of "cross pollination" with the postings.

My reason for lurking is because there are a number of knowledgable posters on JDX (and you know who you are). I simply haven't had anything to add to the forum in light of that flow of great information.

I have been waiting for the same thing to happen here again about JDX's investment, but it hasn't seemed to shine through. So I thought this would be a good time to stand up and be counted and make 2 points.

# 1 - I was a bit surprised with the lack of appreciation of the significance of pre-IPO financings and their place in the capital funding process. Only one gentleman posted what a coup this investment was. A PP of convertibles is current standard practice today in the US, shortly followed by the IPO. They are much in demand generally, and those with a bona fide internet connection are VERY MUCH in demand. Believe me, only the "chosen few" are invited to participate.

# 2 - There were some questions about the suitability of an investment in something as esoteric as an on-line medical site. Healtheon was mentioned, but there are other factors at work there that I won't get into here. Nevertheless, to give you an indication of the arena that JDX has put its little toe into, here is an extract of an article from The Internet Analyst from June 11th. It was authored in response to that day's IPO of KOOP, but speaks volumes about the subject in general (I would link you to it but it's a non-linkable subscription). It was written by Matt Ragas of Raging Bull (one of my favorite places).

I take full blame for the "cross pollination" between the sites. I know a lot of people stick to only one thread (site) and I like to keep facts and ideas flowing to the largest group possible.

Best Regards
KEITH

Anda despacio que tengo prisa ... 'walk slow if you're in a hurry' in spanish.

Important point here - #reply-10245329 - medsite.com deal demonstrates that jdx mgmt is connected, IPOs are not easy to get in on, eh.
