Good Frank, I saw this article and was not sure if you saw it and thought you might be interested since you hold this one, CMGI TROUBLED COMPAQ TO DUMP ALTAVISTA? Internet investment firm CMGi is in talks to buy AltaVista and other Internet assets from Compaq for $2 to $3 billion. Such a deal could transform CMGi into a Web powerhouse, with enough brand-name recognition to challenge sites like Yahoo and MSN. Selling AltaVista suggests Compaq wants to focus on its core business of selling computer hardware and services... where it has stumbled lately. Hello Frank. Interest rate hike jitters are still with us. The data this morning was just a bit higher than expected. We just have to wait for Tuesday to pass. Wow, you did jump into the internet sector. What stocks did you buy? I think the only green in that sector today for me is Vrsn, Psix and RRRR. Our techs are holding up fairly well and Dell is up. Only some of the telcoms getting hit a bit harder. Plain profit taking. Still waiting on the sideline with EMC. Did you hear one of those analysts mentioning the other day that he could see WCOM doubling? If not, he was very optimistic about a great big move up. PFE and Mrk are perking up today. Sonny
