I do not normally cruise this thread but I noticed your post was reposted in the SI QCOM thread and
thought I may add what little I know.

There was a rumor floating around (started I think about 1-2 months ago) as a result of a European trip
made by some QCOM management. It was rumored that this team made a visit to to Siemens. What I
was told however was that the QCOM management team did not visit Siemens but in fact, made a visit
to BMW. The reason of the visit to BMW was to talk about adding CDMA capabilities into certain
BMW automobiles. In fact, it is also rumored that QCOM imported a BMW straight from the factory
and into the QCOM labs for further evaluation.

This was all explained to me when I inquired about the Siemens rumor. Please keep in mind that this is all
rumor and should in no way be construed as viable information.

What are we talking about here? Buyout of the entire company, or a part thereof? What's Gregg Powers take on this?

Whatever happened to us all riding this for many more years

Present value of a dollar, Jill. I will take 200 for sure now rather than "who knows" in the future, and invest it elsewhere.

Never fall in love with a company!

This is probably all BS, anyway
