Gerald,

I noted in a previous post that we did nothing when Africans were ethnically cleansing each other with machetes but that we're morally obligated to get involved when Europeans are doing it with guns.

Excuse me, but where is Somalia located?

Unfortunately, we cannot or choose not to get involved in every case where basic human rights are trampled upon. This was the case in Rwanda. Let's also not forget Tibet. Nearly 1.5 million people have been exterminated since Chinese occupation of this soverign nation since 1949. Hopefully, Tibet will someday have it's own "Berlin Wall."

I am fully cognizant we cannot be the protector of all who experience egregious crimes against humanity. But at the very least, shouldn't we try?
