You should get a job doing PR for the company!

However, as long as "Future growth is at best a guess", to go along with 10 years of no growth, this stock does not deserve much of a valuation.

My view is that we are now discounting the steps taken to date that you eloquently describe BECAUSE, IN VIEW OF THE SIA REPORT, THEY ARE WORTH SOMETHING (the company is not going bankrupt). I doubt that move has much further to go.

If there develops a conviction that there will be material sales growth, either through actual sales performance or the equivalent in company statements, the stock will have another upward move, even if there are no material earnings.

Then if there are meaningful earnings to accompany sales growth we will get another move. Finally, if the growth and improvement is sustained and Xicor develops some credibility, reputation and perceived staying power we would get yet another move.

We have just seen one double. Believe it or not, IF (big IF) they do it all, I can see 3 more doubles --- 1 1/2 --> 3 --> 6 --> 12 --> 24.

On the supply/demand side, note over on YAHOO we have "Old EE Guy"
who once claimed he was going to buy 5% of the company. His last post before today was to state the stock was going to 1 from 1 1/2. Now he is bad-mouthing the advance, saying the stock should be sold for an immanent move down to 2-2 1/4. In my opinion, he is trying to talk the stock down to buy some. That is good for those of us with decent positions.

Thanks for the informative post. You clearly have a lot of insight into this company.

This stock was easy to buy at 1 1/2. In fact I knew I was doing the right thing buying it because everyone I told about it 2 months ago was laughing and asking me if I was crazy. Those same people are now coming to me and wanting to know if it is too late to buy. I tell them to ask me that question after Q2 is released. I want to be a table pounder on this stock, but I need to see Q2 first.

That said, It is hard for me to not add more at this time because I just have this gut feeling that things are a lot better than we think. However, I have to stick to my discipline and wait and I have to show some responsibility and not encourage people to chase the stock.

Lastly, if xico is washed up and this is just a dead cat bounce as some would suggest, why do companies like IBM and LU give them the time of day? Why does Raphie, who is always worried about being sued, pop off with a comment that xico will in the not too distant future have gross margins any company would be proud of? Why do any insiders keep buying the stock? Why does ATMI invest $4mm? Why does this $100k buying interest keep showing up even after the stock has doubled? Soon we will know.
