We were assured that ALL manufacturing problems had been fixed and they were getting excellent yields. Hell, even the K7 is getting excellent yields. The 2 million inventory is not a rumor. The CC talks of production of 6 million with projected sales of 3.7 million. Inventory is therefore presumably 2.3 million. Also the CC seemed to imply that sales were lower than expected because AMD jilted customers when supplies were constrained and now those customers will not start buying again.

Tenchusatsu, <I still feel that the notion that "AMD can sell everything they make" is in question.> Although I believe AMD's infamous yield problems are genuine, I also believe yield problems have been used as a smoke screen to make ridiculous statements like "AMD can sell everything they make". This is not a statement of strong demand...but rather an admission of incompetence. FF
