It is possible to have a love that learns--and learns to laugh about--the social "he/she" speak and goes way beyond it. Well, it is possible to have a love that intellectually tries as hard and honestly as possible to learn about the social he/she speak, and maybe learns to "speak" properly, but I don't believe it is possible to change the fundamental approach. It is sort of like another language where you have learned enough to translate your thoughts into that language, but will never learn to think it as a native born speaker would.
