Damn you guys! As I have posted elsewhere, I am living in a studio apartment where I have had no clothing closet since Christmas and had to go to court about it--not to mention the holes in my bathroom large enough for my cat to go get lost and THE WINDOW!!! And today these two guys show up and do all the work needed--all today,quadrupling the mayhem in an apartment that is also coping with a suddenly unemployed person who is consulting her ass off because she is fond of shelter and eating. And somehow the morons managed to kill my telephone service--to the phone, where, as Chris may remember, is the number where a close friend is trying to contact me about settling his aunt's affairs. And Bell Atlantic may drop by tomorrow sometime in the morning--if the mood is right--when I had an appointment about a possible job. Am I annoyed? Hell, no. (Not hardly, she said with an ugly snicker.) So I am simply going to say here briefly, I have many men friends and many women friends; I have found myself in the utterly bizarre role of interpreting men to women and women to men.
