I start buying QWST two weeks ago. In at 40 doubled up at 34. Will look to add if it should go much lower. I love this opportunity to buy a bunch of this one.

Gary, Good to see you here. Remember, the days we were bullish on ASND back in 1997, when it was languishing in 20s. I have not sold a single share of ASND and getting rewarded for patience.

Market has a way of giving gifts and enable people to get on board many times. These days markets are full of short sighted MYOPIC traders who seek instant gratification. ( Instead they get instant pain).

There is a major change going on in shareholderbase of QWEST with a lot of churning just as ASND did. One good thing is it has only a 90-100 million float. Hence this churning should slow down in low thirties. Unless Internet is a myth, QWEST should not drop below 31-32 in near term and if they show good growth, we might see 40s soon once the churning is over.

QWEST appears to be a great gift today for people with patience. I am positive about its future and most importantly Joe Nacchio is a winner with strategic vision. I listened to conf. call today and he articulated his vision very well.

QWEST is my favorite company today ( I did not say stock as it is very unpredictable in short term). In long term this has "SUPER CARRIER" written allover it. I don't know about AMZN, AOL making a lot of money. But QWEST and WCOM and LU will sure make lots of money in the new TELECOMMUNICATIONS economy.

I hope you will reap the rewards, unlike ASND, where you had to exit for various reasons. Wishing you luck and looking forward for your contributions. It seems like all the ASNDers are becoming QWESTIES.

Regards,
BR
