I read the news that DELL and GTW both have/will launch their own
ISP, just wondering does CPQ already have its own ISP now ? Will
AV be the potential backbone if CPQ is to have its own ISP ? In case
of CMGI buying AV from CPQ, will this jeopardize CPQ's internet strategy later ?

pls advise, thx

This analysis of AV and CMGI is scary as hell.. even if they sold AV, SHoppping.com, and Zip for 15% of CMGI. What good are shares in am internet bubble company that may go bust at any moment... it's like throwing away 2 bil. (at least risking 2 bil), as compared to using the resources available in AV, etc., to put together a package that would be extremely useful for CPQ SERVICE AND SALES throughout the world!

These guys running it have all the vision of Rainman; look at them stash 4 bil in cash reserves and can't figure out how better to invest the money and resources currently available!

I vote for Rudedog as CEO... I trust his analytic abilities, and I'd just as soon see El as chief marketing officer (worldwide)... anybody who can play golf so well AND keep a rabbit amused has got to be good at marketing and sales....
