allen, there is room for LU and CSCO to thrive, however, I believe that CSCO's relative growth, margins, and EPS will outstrip LU for years to come. Two totally different cultures. CSCO is where you money will grow much faster than LU, imo.

Looking forward to the summer rally, which I believe is well underway.

BTW, my first CSCO purchase was Feb 96, my avg $/sh is <$13, post split. It is by far my biggest holding, followed by QCOM, MSFT, NTAP, RMBS, PMCS, INTC, CNXT, UNPH, EMC. I am pleased with them all, except INTC, which has been good to me since 1991 but my number 1 laggard this year.

Is there a decent small size firm who competes well with Cisco. I find this a bit rich for my pocketbook. I just got to believe that there is another independent bay or ascend out there.
