Does the real talent leave? Inept management that does not have a clue has been blamed several times by Rick for the sorry state of several biotechs. Is there no room for crafting a hostile takeover to throw them out and do things right? I am asking? I do not know. The assumption that hostile takeovers will never work in biotech seems too pat, however. You may have an approved drug or completed P III trials and patents that might be of interest even if some good people left. If the price is right I just am not sure hostile takeovers must be ruled out. Still this is not a conclusion but rather just random thoughts.
