I am keeping my pants on, and I concur it's early in the race. The problem is, there are a lot of prominent Republicans (including, irritatingly enough, my congressman) who are already taking their pants off (stretching the analogy) or at least taking out their wallets, for W. By the time we get to Iowa, the Alaska straw poll, and so forth, W's coffers will dwarf Bill Gates'!
