Agreed Derek the greens really ARE contradictory. Our foreign minister was an utmost speaker in 1983-85 (anti-Pershing II) peace movement. His most loved vision was a neutral totally disarmed Germany. It was the "angelic" phase of the greens (and other politicians). I really wonder what will come after that war? On the contradicitions: he was attacked by a party member on the extraordinary green party congress on Kosovo by a transvestite who threw a balloon filled with red dye at the ministers' neck. I am sure the main aim was to assure the critical public that transvestites have an important say inside the greens. Which is very much o.k. of course, but I would choose a different type of public campaign. It might seem more human and more honest.
