The Banks drew their own line...brokers are not going to cross over and share all their customer info with the them folks, plus they tipped them on the best distribution method...thin, CheckFrees' Model. Why would a portal want a NetWork of banks to host their presentment space....thus screwing them out of cross selling Insurance, and Loans on Auto, Home, Visa and related services such as Brokerage with companies they have already signed agreements with to present their content advertising on info requests. Banks IMO are going to be a wedge this internet drives through. They are going about this backasswards...there are 100 Million people on the Internet already and a handful of millions at a bank site. What are you offering Exchange...better interest rates? 5% Free Bill Pay, or $5.59 a month? Study WalMart....It is Distribution Stupid. They don't make anything...they just provide it cheaper to the consumer. The going Price on the Internet is Free at NetB@nk...I harp on it and I harp on it....bend over and k#ss Y__ A%% G**db&e.
