watch altera and other programmable logic chip companies, not dram or sram companies for any type of indicator. IMHO of course.

CNBC this morning...AMD cites much weaker than expected smart card sales as part of their earnings shortfall. Also sites increased competition, particuarly from INTEL as other factor. Maybe ATMEL drained from them and will meet or (beat) the forcasted 30% earnings increase. Yes, I agree with the future earnings forcast with the Motorola deal.
