I seem to remember 3dfx saying they will stick to graphics and specifically said they will not go after audio. I suppose they could incorporate Aureal's into their home theater line (i.e. V3500TV), but I don't see them losing focus with graphics.

What's the status of Creative's lawsuit against Aureal? If they win that suit then Aureal is dead.

From everything I've read, A3D is a better technology then Creative's SB Live. Better chip, better software library.

You certainly could pick up Aureal on the cheap though...
