pc, this report was horrid. bottom line, current pricing is well below th 10 cent loss asp and inventory in units was held back to the tune of a 100% increase.

now they need incentives just to dump their crap. lower prices coming. remember, o/s shares increased dramatically. also, mu is a $10+ billion co. seems its owners deserve better...

or its price s/b shaved... big...

remember, this is the recovery! ho ho ho... ;-)

PC, Agree again, I've been watching AMD and Intel do battle for over 7 years now. Almost like clockwork AMD comes out again announcing they have problems. KNOWONE should be surprised about this, except for the size of the predicted loss. (200 mil. on sales of 600 mil., wow that hurts!!!) My feeling is that the only reason Intel even allows them to stay in business is because of anti-trust. Really if Intel wanted to they could put AMD out of business. I actually think AMD is a good company with good products, it's just unfortunate that their competition is Intel. Shouldn't be surprising I hold a fair amount of INTC!!!

Good Luck, Pat

BTW, your "loser" Diamond is being bought out by S3. You're right, they were pretty lame.

Paperchase,

You have good insight, I hope you stick around a little longer. I recently have been trading calls in DELL at these prices and doing well and also added a fair amount of DELL to my core account for long term. Also now have only a minimal amount of CPQ.

The bears just don't get it with MU and its commodity business, that is why they are always losing on those sucker bets in the PUT options. They actually think they can outsmart the MU specialists...yeah right! Trade the PUTs ...fine...buy and hold the PUTs and you will almost always lose.

I have no position in MU right now since I learned a while ago not to play the earnings game...but let MU selloff today and I will buying some calls at the 41 level support and if need be the 36 level support. Will MU see 30 in early JUNE obviously not or low 20's by end of June like they have been calling....I seriously doubt it on this trading sardine.<g>

The "forever bears" record for accurately reporting fundamentals on MU is POOR and it is equally poor for trying to make money off of it.<VBG>

Good Luck Trading
