UK Press Release

IMMEDIATE RELEASE - 22 JUNE 1999

London: Jason Gleave, founder and CEO of Trojan Television Ltd
trading as The Auction Channel, today (22 June 1999)) announced
that the company has been acquired by Los Angeles-based Brilliant
Digital Entertainment (AMEX:BDE), a leading producer of 3D content
and tools for the Internet. The Auction Channel now becomes an
operating division of Brilliant through an exchange of restricted
common shares and warrants valued at approximately $7.3 million.

The Auction Channel (www.theauctionchannel.com), founded in
1996, integrates live satellite and cable TV and Internet broadcast of
live auction events conducted by Christie's, Phillips, Bonhams, Brooks,
Allsop & Co and Antiquorum - and other major auction houses with
whom the company has contracts - allowing simultaneous remote
bidding by viewers. It is contracted by Sky Sports to provide monthly
live TV broadcasts of sports auction events, simultaneously Web cast
by The Auction Channel.

"The acquisition provides us with access to proven management
expertise and finance that supports and complements our current
dominant position in this rapidly growing market sector of
e-commerce," Gleave states.

Mark Dyne, Brilliant Chairman and CEO, said the acquisition of The
Auction Channel provides a timely opportunity for Brilliant to expand
its digital entertainment content on the Internet and television
broadcast and to leverage its content and e-commerce capabilities to
deliver business through online transactions.

"Brilliant has an arsenal of proprietary tools, technologies and content
which will allows us to produce integrated programming which will
broaden audience participation for events broadcast live on television
or over the Web," Dyne says.

Brilliant Digital Entertainment is the tools developer and production
studio which created Multipath™ Movie
(http://www.multipathmovies.com), distributed over the Internet, on
CD-ROM and DVD, as television programming and for home video.
The company has contracts with several Hollywood film studios and U.
S. software companies for 3D animation projects delivered over the
Internet and other digital entertainment mediums.

The Auction Channel's prime positioning is not to serve as the
auctioneer but to work with the auction industry to facilitate electronic
distribution of their events. The company developed the unique
Interactive Bidding System to fulfil this role, which is used for
television broadcast, for Internet broadcast (NetBidLive) and
automated telephone bidding (AudioDirect). The Auction Channel
has generated record viewing figures for its television distribution
partners and consistently attracted increasing numbers of Internet
bidders and viewers for its Internet broadcasts.

A major element of its success, Gleave believes, lies in the strength of
its management and executive team, all of whom have extensive
experience in technology, the Internet, television and the auction
business. All senior management is being retained in the new
organisation and Gleave remains as CEO. The management team will
be responsible for negotiating joint venture agreements with
telecommunications and media companies world-wide to deliver
direct, live auction broadcasts with full, live transaction capability
over the Internet and television networks into homes and offices.

Brilliant recently completed a $4.3 million private placement, which
includes a number of individual investors with significant media
distribution experience and ongoing industry relationships.
Participating were Prince Ahmad bin Khalid al Saud, a media
industry investor and a member of the Saudi Royal family; entities
associated with Tim Helfet, president and CEO Rysher Entertainment;
Martin Schuermann, USA representative of CLT-UFA; Barry Baeres,
president of Intertainment Aktiengesseleschaft, Germany; and Brent
Cohen, formerly president, Packard Bell NEC. Brilliant has also
secured an additional $6 million stand-by equity line of credit.

"The global profile of our main investors reflects the global nature of
our business," Gleave comments. "In the exploding arena of
e-commerce we are in the forefront of providing intuitive solutions for
the auction industry. Our vision is to be the leading global service
provider for auction houses, enabling them to enhance the
performance of their business and to expand the market reach for
each and every auction event for our customers."

Brilliant plans to expand the geographic scope of The Auction
Channel's auction broadcasts. "Soon, anyone with a television and a
telephone or Internet access in Europe, Asia and the Americas will be
able to watch important auctions and bid simultaneously with bidders
on the floor," Dyne says. "There's no question viewers will want to
participate."

Brilliant Digital Entertainment (web site:http//www.bde3d.com) is
headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in Australia and England.
The Auction Channel's headquarters remain in London, but the
company will be opening additional offices world-wide (web
site:http://www.theauctionchannel.com).

I think from the bits and pieces of published information, one can start to see the grand plan. Here are some of the things to expect.

June

theauctionchannel.com

July-August
Warner Brothers / Time Warner premiere entertainment site opens
entertaindom.com

February 2000
By February, I believe that BDE will be viewed as a major player for their internet auction sites and their internet bandwidth tools. At some point before then, there is a very real chance of this stock becoming a serious high flyer. One thing to watch for is a possible buyout by Time Warner's new internet division which will probably go public in the next few months. I won't be surprised by prices north of $30/share. There are just too many major players in this one now.
