So, I can't believe it, but I happened to be on E-Trade when they were taking IOI on E-Loan! Still upset I missed Ariba, I guess.

Can someone explain to me the selling limitation on E-Trade IPOs? Is it 30 days? 60 days? 180 days? I'm having trouble getting the straight answer with respect to E-Trade.

Another question: I am going to be out of town the week of the 28th. Is my IOI enough, or do I have to actually place the trade (assuming, of course, I get shares in the lottery).

Also, is the lottery based on shares requested, or just done based on people? How do they decide what portion of the requested shares you receive?

I guess they could do a lottery, 25 shares at a time, until they are all gone. Anyone know for sure?

Any answers are appreciated. E-Loan would be my first IPO with E-Trade.
