Interesting comments by the Mayor of Los Angeles on the radio yesterday as he is backing the FCC to set the standards for this current problem of cable/high speed access...
He doesn't want the Portland/local areas setting up a myriad of standards and rules for internet access...
He knows that NO ONE will put up all the cash and build the infrastructure needed to bring this access to the public and many are looking to LA for leadership in this municipal/internet problem.
