So Stan, looking at that last chart, it seems that when PTEK goes up it's only for a short time.......is that likely to be repeated, ie. can you tell from the chart or is that past the data?

>>>have to wonder about such an enthusiastic admission of guilt.<<< just wondering if you were paying attention! <g>

Actually I decided when I bought SCUR that it was totally speculative. Stocks in a bollinger squeeze simply follow different rules and often not always, trend down within that long flattish pattern before they finally break. It's not unusual to see a fairly significant downside drop right before a pop. Bollingers are still narrowed by 80% or so.

Some early momentum indicators have signaled an early buy but again in this kind of pattern they don't mean a great deal.

Anyway I'm holding 'til something develops. This could go on awhile, I hope not. Also, even if SCUR collapses I haven't lost enough to hurt much. It's a risk but a relatively small one.

By the way I can send you some stocks that had very similar patterns before the upside break, if it'll help allay any fears.

Ummm, course I could send ya some charts with similar patterns...just before they went bankrupt. I'm kidding.............kinda. <g>

I'll keep ya posted! By the way I made a quick visit to Glenn's site, very nice!

Stan....home for a few days.
