JXM - sorry but my statement is not an opinion it is backed by the correlation between the stock price and the amount of needless advertising on financial & consumer channels by LU & CSCO just for image building wen the stock is down

CSCO and LU are not the only one doing so, there are plenty of Internut'z companies and other sleezy outfits doing the same.

HWP, INTC, MOT, IBM, DELL et-al and many others advertise a product.

BTW have you seen advertising from BA, or DD or others? No their management is honest and hard working interested to promote the business of their companies not the stock. Their products are used almost by every US citizen but their market is corporate as is the markets of LU and CSCO.

Then why spend money on advertising which will not bring more business - conclusion to promote the stock usually with subtle but effective misrepresentation. Since wen LU and CSCO are the Internet for example??

What about NT, Siemens, ALA, ERICY and a slew of other companies?

IMHO LU and CSCO management are a bounce of sle&%#e b*&gs nothing more or less unfortunate they are not the only ones running public companies!

No position in the stocks and actually made some mony yesterday by closing puts I wrote on CSCO stock.
