Just upgraded my 1997 AMD 200 to a AMD k2 450mhz last week. Haven't bought an Intel chip since 1995. Just wanted to mention that. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

EP,

<Please open your eyes Charles. Jerry has lied to you over and over and over again yet still you lap it up like honey. No production K7 system has ever seen the light of day. No .18u material has ever been seen and there is no data whatsoever to say it is "in control". This is the same old recycled BS from all the previous CCs. How many times has Jerrys told you that "this time it's different" or "profits are coming" or "the yield problems are behind us"? Do you really believe anything he says now?>

You might want to ask your fellow INTC cheerleader, Paul, about K7 status and AMD 180nm process status.
