Rich: The MacCentral report on the P1 is probably a good one, that Alpha Top will be producing limited production models in July and Apple will have thousands to sell by some time in August. Thanks for the options advice. I would love a PM from you when you see something you like. An e-mail is even better as it is easy to not be in the habit of checking for PMs. <<Also we don't have the keynote until after July expirations and that complicates.>> Exactly. Hate to pay all that time premium just for an extra week to sell on the MacWorld news. OTOH, the high for AAPL in 1998 was the Monday after the August options expired, due to iMac launch. I wonder if the P1 can make the third Friday in August? <G> In any case, I have started buying the common heavily here in the 42s. Louis: I guess you read that article on Salon in the Sunday Examiner business section too! Because I had the same thought. The answer to the question is somewhere in the SEC docs, I'm sure. We'll find out soon. Btw, I hope Apple sells as soon as possible, what a dog that stock is (gonna be). Soup: <<These guys showed more character in defeat than most teams in victory.>> Dear God! Btw, thanks for the info on the Final Cut systems. Interesting to hear what your shop is doing. In the same spirit, someone I know just journeyed to Hawaii where he needed to buy an iMac. He got one only because he managed to be there on the day a shipment came in. Eight of ten were spoken for and according to the help, they can't keep them in stock. Anyone: If there were to be an announced stock buyback, would the post earnings conference call be the likely place? Or would Jobs say it, wanting glory for the stock rise to accrue to his speech? Or is he above all that? How would Noah Wylie see it? Marc
