Looks like it'll be fun doing the beta. This tread looks like a dixieland band "When The Saints Go Marching In". I'll be pulling their coats about a thing or 2 probably. Anyone ever do the MSN Investor beta last summer? With Gates it was his rules no choice - either upgrade with the beta or fugeddabout charts & the more interesting stuff on Investor. Hope what Bryan emailed comes true - that the SI beta is accessed by choice and while it will run noticeably slower it won't mess up the regular SI functions. It's already seperate software from the ISP's so it shouldn't be a problem. Anyone know if SI is it's own proprietary browser or if it's hop-on software to Windows, Mac, or Netscape? That MSN Investor beta was one hellacious browser-snarling cookie-jamming settings-changing time-waster of a geekride, lemmetellya.
But SI shouldn't be at all like that. Great thing about SI & Go2net is the simplicity of operation IMHO.
