Del, I think that it is wonderful that Wiccans are (or were until recently) allowed to practice their belief systems and be productive members of the armed forces at the same time.

My daughter read the article about it and said she was happy that there were witches in the Army, but that NO ONE should be in the Army, because violence was wrong. I remember feeling pretty much the same way at fifteen--very idealistic. Her father and I tried to explain the concept of a large and well-prepared military force actually being a deterrence to war, and about how there was real evil in the world and that sometimes wars were necessary.

Why won't anyone read any long articles, if they are on a subect that is interesting like how Russia came to be atheistic? I think it is fascinating, personally. (At least we remembered his name!)
