SEATTLE and REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- RealNetworks(R), Inc., RNWK the recognized leader in media delivery on the Internet, and Liberate Technologies, formerly Network Computer Inc., today announced a strategic agreement to distribute RealNetworks' RealPlayer(R) G2 as the preferred broadband streaming media player across Liberate's software solutions. Liberate has chosen RealPlayer G2 to provide companies such as MediaOne and Philips with a robust solution for delivering the widest range of media programming on the Web to information appliances, such as television set-top boxes and game consoles.
