Contract

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T announced today that it has been awarded a three-year, $270
million dollar contract by Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) to provide an integrated portfolio of data and
voice services to streamline integration and management of a company-wide network.

AT&T will provide services to BCBSA through AT&T One Net Service®, an integrated offer portfolio that simplifies
managing complex telecommunications services. AT&T OneNet Service combines voice, data, Internet, wireless and local
services under a single contract with a single commitment. Network services provided under the agreement include inbound
and outbound voice services, AT&T Teleconferencing Services, dedicated digital private-line services, AT&T Frame Relay,
AT&T Wireless Services and AT&T Local Services.


AT&T will support the majority of BCBSA's call centers nationwide by providing call handling and routing capabilities
through AT&T's Advanced 800 application features. AT&T will provide a complete spectrum of services, from professional
call center consulting to full technology implementations designed to assist BCBS as it continues to consolidate call centers
and apply new technology to meet the needs of providers and customers.
