Cleveland Plain Dealer has a Staples (a major regional office supply store) advertisement this morning. They are offering a U are U unit for $190 with a mail in rebate for $100. Obviously U are U has to do something to get into the market place.

"I have spoken to a friend who is envolved in Newark Airport Security. He stated to me that they are about to replace current security doors with biometric smart card readers? Is there any way that this is DBII realated? I thought they already had smart card readers installed here."

The point is clear: IDX is about to expand its second O'Hare pilot -- the secure door pilot -- to other airports. This is the first we have heard about that!
