my guess is mrv has probably been talking to someone else about their institutional banking needs, so the feelings (and wallets) of the current firms are smarting a little.... greg

recieved a fax from mrv this am...too dirty to scan, but i'll summarize: First part was the article regarding the superquest awards... i think everyone was aware of MRV win in the wireless technology category-- won for its wireless traffic driver, a system that uses WDM technology to deliver up to 4Gbits/s of data over 1 killometer of open space.... Also, honorable mention in the optical networking category went to New Access Comm. for MetroFusion, a DMDM system designed specifically for IP routing properties.... The next part of the fax was an article from NewMedia that summarizes the products from New Access, Nbase-Xyplex, and Charlotte's Web Networks.... the interesting thing is it doesn't mention the company MRVC anywhere! hmmmmmm..... this one i'll try to scan. greg
