Ian I think what was significant about Maria B's report was she stated: "After coming out of meeting with Dell late yesterday, Bear Sterns etc" So it seems to me they were reassured of their $60 price target! Great in anyevent!

Ian, RE: I think CNBC would be a lot better station if they just reported the news; or allowed knowledgeable corporate officials to tell their story. Too many of them choose to "make" the news instead.

You should watch the Bloomberg channel then, if that channel is available to you. Straight, solid, informative financial news reporting. No sensationalism.

Of course, the downside is that if you want to watch for more than 10 minutes, the Bloomberg channel is more boring than a test pattern.
